I am a film analyst and digital content creator, professionally known as RnaR. My work focuses on cinema and storytelling. I explore films beyond entertainment, looking at their emotional depth, narrative structure, and cultural meaning. Through digital platforms, I share these ideas with a global audience and take part in meaningful conversations around film and visual storytelling.
My journey with cinema began early in life and evolved significantly in 2007 when I gained access to a personal computer. This marked the beginning of my engagement with films from around the world, allowing me to study global cinema traditions and develop a deep understanding of storytelling across cultures. Over time, this passion transformed into a professional practice rooted in critical observation, research, and creative interpretation.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s degree (2016) and a Master’s degree (2018) in Physics from Jagannath University. This scientific background has strongly influenced my analytical approach to filmmaking, enabling me to break down narratives, structures, and visual language with precision and clarity.
I began my professional journey as a content creator in 2017. Since then, I have produced over 270 original video pieces across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, reaching a large Bengali-speaking audience worldwide. Through consistent film analysis and storytelling, I have become a recognised digital voice in cinema-focused content. I have also collaborated with more than 60 brands, reflecting sustained professional trust and creative credibility.
Beyond digital platforms, I have worked within the film and television industry as a screenwriter for the web series “Karagar” and as a script supervisor for “Kalpurush”. These roles allowed me to apply my analytical understanding of narrative directly to long-form storytelling, strengthening my position as a multidisciplinary creative professional.
While cinema remains the core of my work, I also engage in cross-cultural storytelling through travel-based content, documenting people, places, and cultural experiences across countries including China, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Nepal. These experiences inform my creative perspective and enhance my ability to communicate stories that resonate with international audiences.
Now based in the United Kingdom, I aim to contribute to the country’s creative ecosystem through film analysis, digital storytelling, and collaborative media projects. At the core of everything I do, cinema remains my greatest inspiration. For me, films are not just stories on a screen, but a powerful way to connect, reflect, and share ideas across cultures.
